As one of the world's leading suppliers of machine-tool systems for the construction industry and the construction trade, Tyrolit also continuously sets new standards in steel and concrete wire sawing. Our combinations of diamond saw wires, wire sawing machines and accessories are perfect solutions for a range of different applications. Examples include the refurbishment and demolition of buildings, the demolition of bridges, as well as the machining of many other large-dimension reinforced concrete and steel components. The possibilities in terms of wall thickness and steel content, but also geometry are almost unlimited due to an intelligent overall design of the systems. For example in regard to the cutting depth, where the basic rule is: the more wire storage, the deeper the cuts. Tyrolit offers absolutely generous solutions here with up to 26 m of wire storage.
Wire saws with hydraulic or electric drives
Tyrolit's wire saw assortment includes models with both electric (with high-frequency motor up to 37 kW) and hydraulic drives (up to 40 kW). These include portable and compact solutions that are ideal for classic construction sites. Tyrolit also offers electrically or hydraulically driven circular wire saws for circular cutouts up to approx. 2.5 m in diameter.
As a pioneer in the industry, Tyrolit also relies on modular design for wire saws. This means that, according to the modular principle, individual components can be used within the same application area or for different applications. For example, modular components of various high-frequency systems (i.e. P2® Technology) are used for wall and wire sawing, but also for circular wire sawing and drilling.
The right diamond wire for every application
When it comes to diamond saw wires, Tyrolit offers you a choice of electroplated or sintered solutions in PREMIUM, STANDARD or BASIC quality. Both solutions are perfectly matched to our wire saw machines and the materials to be machined (concrete, steel, nonferrous metals, etc.) and perform reliably, safely and efficiently. This applies to daily standard applications as well as to the implementation of complex or customer-specific projects. For example, in the dismantling of steel platforms, we also provide our customers with our extensive application know-how and support them right from the planning stage and subsequently during the implementation of their projects.
Important to note: For customer-specific applications for steel sawing, Tyrolit also offers saw wire loops of up to 50 m in length!
